After leaving Zhuzi Kingdom, the pilgrims reached Pansi Ridge, where dew shone on silver threads among the trees.

Deep in the forest lived a group of silk-weaving sisters. Their leader explained that while preparing for a thread festival, they had accidentally woven the only exit into the maze.

Bajie hurried between two strands, making the thread ball grow larger. Sha Wujing reminded everyone not to pull, but to first see what made the threads move.

From a high branch, Wukong saw the threads rise in a moon, flower, leaf pattern. Tang Seng shared the pattern with the weavers.

White Dragon Horse tapped a gentle rhythm, Bajie turned the flower wheel, Sha Wujing steadied the leaf wheel, and Wukong counted beside the moon wheel. The maze slowly opened.

When the exit appeared, the Silk-Weaver Sister admitted, “We were so busy showing our craft that we forgot to ask whether travelers wanted to join.”

Together they turned the silver threads into colorful arches that left a wide path. At last, the thread festival began with joyful music and laughter.

At farewell, the sister gave them a golden chrysanthemum. Its scent drifted toward Yellow Flower Temple, where seven teacups released seven colors of steam.

Skill should respect other people's choices. When a problem feels tangled, observing the pattern and speaking honestly works better than struggling in a hurry.
