安安先看机翼。机翼上面微微弯起，下面比较平，空气流过时会产生向上的力量，叫作升力。

An'an studied the wings first. They curve gently on top and are flatter underneath. As air flows around them, an upward force called lift is created.

飞机往前飞，空气才会持续流过机翼。安安轻轻向后吹气，妈妈说：“发动机提供的推力，让飞机向前走。”

The plane must move forward so air keeps flowing over its wings. An'an blew gently backward, and Mom said, “The engines provide thrust that moves the plane ahead.”

安安把四个小纸片放在桌上：升力托住飞机，重力向下拉，推力向前走，阻力挡住空气。四种力量要保持平衡。

An'an placed four paper shapes on a table: lift holds the plane up, gravity pulls down, thrust moves it forward, and drag pushes against the air. The four forces must balance.

机翼后缘的襟翼和尾部的方向舵会改变空气流动。飞行员用它们帮助飞机上升、转弯和保持方向。

Flaps on the back of the wings and a rudder on the tail change the airflow. Pilots use them to help the plane climb, turn, and keep its direction.

飞机里面还有很多电脑和仪表，帮助飞行员观察速度、高度和方向。安安发现，飞行员也需要像司机一样专心看路。

Inside the plane, computers and instruments help pilots watch speed, height, and direction. An'an learned that pilots, like drivers, must stay focused on the route.

飞机沿着跑道加速，轮子还在地面滚动。速度越来越快，机翼获得的升力也越来越大，飞机终于离开地面。

The plane accelerated along the runway with its wheels still rolling. As it went faster, the wings made more lift, and the plane finally left the ground.

起飞后，起落架收回机身，飞机在云朵上方平稳前进。安安看见机翼像两只安静伸开的手。

After takeoff, the landing gear folded into the body, and the plane traveled smoothly above the clouds. An'an thought the wings looked like two calm, open hands.

飞行中，飞机会遇到不同方向的风。飞行员和自动控制系统不断做小小调整，让机身保持稳定。

In flight, the plane meets winds from different directions. Pilots and automatic controls make tiny adjustments to keep the body steady.

妈妈说：“飞机能飞，不是因为它变轻了，而是升力、推力和控制一起工作。”安安点头，把四种力量再数了一遍。

Mom said, “The plane does not become light. Lift, thrust, and control work together.” An'an nodded and counted the four forces once more.

安安玩“飞机找秘密”：找机翼、发动机、尾翼和起落架。她发现，每个部件都有自己的工作。

An'an played “Find the airplane secrets”: spot the wings, engines, tail, and landing gear. She discovered that each part has its own job.

The plane flew over a faraway city. An'an said, “Wings lift it, engines push it, and teamwork lets the plane fly high and steady.”

飞机靠机翼产生升力、发动机提供推力，再配合尾翼和驾驶控制；复杂的飞行来自许多部分一起工作。

Wings create lift, engines provide thrust, and the tail and controls help steer. Flight is a team effort between many parts.
