Mom unfolded a route map. “We will ride to the city library and look for clues.” Colorful dots on it looked like a tiny road.

公交车停进站台，车门打开。先下后上，安安牵着妈妈的手，等车完全停稳才上车。

The bus settled at the stop and opened its doors. People got off before others got on. Holding Mom's hand, An'an waited until it was completely still.

妈妈说：“每条线路出发前就排好了顺序：这一站、下一站，再下一站。”安安想象站点在城市里接力。

Mom explained, “Before a route begins, its stops are put in order: this stop, the next one, then the next.” An'an imagined the stops passing a baton.

座位上方的路线图把站点排成一列。安安数到四个彩点，图书馆就在第四站。

A route map above the seats arranged the stops in a row. An'an counted four colored dots and found the library at the fourth stop.

车开起来，司机照着道路和线路行驶；定位系统把车辆位置传给报站系统和调度中心。

The bus moved as the driver followed the streets and planned line. A location system sent its position to the announcement system and dispatch center.

快到第一站，车里响起轻柔提示。安安看见窗外的公园，对照路线图：“原来它知道走到哪儿了！”

Near the first stop, a gentle chime sounded. An'an spotted the park and checked the map. “It knows where it is on the journey!”

公交车绕着圆环路口转弯，安安数窗外的景色：大树、桥、蓝色屋顶。路线靠地图和站点，不靠记忆。

The bus curved around a roundabout. An'an counted a big tree, a bridge, and a blue roof outside. A route uses maps and marked stops, not memory alone.

前方道路施工，司机收到调度中心的临时安排，绕过封闭路段。妈妈说：“路线变了，安全和新站点要先确认。”

Road work blocked the street ahead. The driver received a temporary plan and went around it. Mom said, “When a route changes, safety and new stops must be checked first.”

安安按下下车提示按钮。妈妈提醒：“需要下一站下车时再按，车会在规定站点安全停下。”

An'an pressed the stop-request button. Mom reminded her, “Press it when you need the next stop; the bus will stop safely at its designated stop.”

四站之后，公交车在图书馆站停稳。安安把彩点画成小旗子：“线路、定位、司机和报站，一起帮它找到下一站！”

Four stops later, the bus fully stopped at the library. An'an drew flags over the dots. “The route, location, driver, and announcements help it find the next stop together!”

回家路上，安安看见地铁入口，又问：“没有红绿灯的地铁，为什么跑得快？”妈妈笑着说：“下一次继续观察！”

On the way home, An'an saw a subway entrance and asked, “Why can a subway move fast without traffic lights?” Mom smiled. “That is our next adventure!”

公交车按规划线路行驶，司机、定位和报站系统一起帮助它到站；乘车要排队、扶稳并等车停稳。

A bus follows a planned route, while the driver, location system, and announcements help it reach each stop. Queue, hold on, and wait until it stops.
